Growing up as apartment kids, we spent most of our childhood living in apartments. We used to run the playground with our friends and go to the academy in the mall of the apartment complex.
Unlike the modern Korean view of interpreting apartments as the value of capital and investment, for us, apartments were homes. Even if someone says it's a cement building like a matchbox, it contains our memories. The apartment we grew up in will soon be destroyed because it is too old.
